Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Calgary is seeking an Early Childhood Educator at Level 1, 2 or 3 to work with teachers and families, providing a home-away-from-home environment for children under our care.

You will implement BrightPath’s curriculum, maintain a safe classroom, assess progress, and collaborate with staff and families. This full-time role offers competitive pay, health/dental/vision coverage, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum ECE Level 3 certification or equivalent degree.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR are required.
• Must meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
• Immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment for children.
• Assessing children's abilities and progress and communicating with parents and staff.
• Collaborating with colleagues, management and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator - Level 1, 2 or 3, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
