Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Legacy Centre team. Join a vibrant, supportive community and help deliver BrightPath’s curriculum to children in a safe, engaging environment.

You will build developmentally appropriate activities, assess children's progress, collaborate with families and staff, and participate in meetings and training to support our learners' growth. Full-time hours, day shifts, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education certification (Level 1/2/3) or B.Ed./Equivalent.
• Meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Early Childhood Education - Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent

Requirements:

• Early Childhood Education - Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent
