We’re looking for a Head of Marketing. Could It Be You?

The Head of Marketing reports to the President, Community Trust Company (CTC) and is responsible for supporting QFG's trust company and future bank entity (Questbank) to develop and implement comprehensive client acquisition and retention marketing strategies to establish our brand presence and drive growth. Collaborating with peer groups, this role will also oversee client and digital experiences to ensure a seamless and client-centric approach.

This role requires a deep understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, data and analytics, and industry trends. The successful candidate will play a key strategic role in developing business strategy and annual goals, ensuring their attainment.

The successful candidate will be a strong business leader with a proven ability to lead growth teams and influence the organization. They will have a track record of developing innovative campaigns and products that underpin differentiated marketing strategies and deliver measurable results.

This leader excels at transforming competitive insights into clear, compelling strategies that drive tangible outcomes. They are passionate advocates for their products, inspiring and mobilizing teams to achieve objectives. They possess exceptional management skills and are adaptable to diverse stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to grow brand awareness and customer acquisition and retention, aligned with QFG's mission, vision, and values.
  • Collaborate with the CMO and COO to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and growth initiatives.
  • Position future bank branding to align with QFG's master brand for consistent voice and communication.
  • Ensure value proposition and messaging differentiate our offerings in the marketplace.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategies for engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Monitor performance metrics; optimize strategies to improve ROI and align with growth goals.
  • Drive client experience initiatives across all channels for seamless, client-focused interactions.
  • Manage third-party distribution networks, events, communication portals, and promotional inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, collaborating with Compliance and Risk teams.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging experimentation.
  • Manage marketing budget strategically to maximize impact.
  • Stay informed on emerging marketing technologies and trends.
  • Analyze campaign performance using data-driven insights, refining strategies accordingly.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to direct reports.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience and knowledge of broker and / or retail financial services in banking and mortgage industries.
  • 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 10 in leadership.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing B2C and B2B2C strategies that drive growth.
  • Ability to set plans and prioritize team projects.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competition.
  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expertise in analyzing data for actionable insights and campaign optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-channel marketing, lead generation, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and channel integration.
  • Experience leading cross-functional agile teams for go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for innovation and embracing new marketing approaches.
