In this role, you will:

  1. Lead the development and execution of a full-funnel marketing strategy that drives marketplace growth by attracting and engaging employers, academic partners, and strategic partners.
  2. Develop and execute employer marketing programs to fill the marketplace with high-quality, career-aligned projects, focusing on converting and retaining high-quality employers, especially small and midsize businesses.
  3. Support demand generation efforts on the academic and partnership side, working closely with Sales, Account Management, and Strategic Partnerships to communicate the impact and ROI of Riipen programming.
  4. Collaborate with Sales to design and launch scalable go-to-market campaigns that drive adoption, re-engagement, and expansion.
  5. Build out the sales enablement engine, providing tools, data, and messaging to support sales and customer success teams.
  6. Lead employer lifecycle marketing efforts, educating employers on publishing projects, accepting applicants, and engaging throughout.
  7. Partner with Impact and Research teams to create compelling collateral, including reports, case studies, and thought leadership.
  8. Strengthen Riipen’s brand presence across media channels, ensuring consistent messaging.
  9. Act as a strategic advisor and cross-functional collaborator to align messaging and programs.
  10. Measure and optimize marketing performance using data-driven insights and KPIs.
  11. Grow, lead, and coach a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration and a metrics-driven culture.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have deep experience building multi-channel marketing programs targeting diverse customer segments.
  • Understand marketing value-driven, funded programs and how to drive urgency for enrollment.
  • Are experienced with full-funnel strategies, lead generation, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Know how to align sales and marketing, supporting sales enablement.
  • Use data to inform decisions, optimize campaigns, and track success, with proficiency in CRM, analytics, and automation tools.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, growth-stage environments with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Are a strong communicator capable of translating impact into compelling messaging.

Bonus points if you have experience in:

  • Marketing workforce development, co-funded talent programs, or B2B marketplace platforms.
  • Understanding government relations, grant-based funding, or higher education sales cycles.
  • Employer acquisition and retention strategies in a mission-driven context.
  • Working with remote teams across time zones.

We encourage applicants who may not check all boxes but are eager to learn. We value diversity and inclusion, seeking individuals from varied backgrounds and perspectives.

We’d love to learn more about you! How have you championed lifelong learning? What draws you to our mission of eliminating barriers for emerging talent? What unique experiences would you bring?
