Job description

Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing, the Senior Product Marketing Manager for the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) segment is an innovative, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of markets and buyers. This role is responsible for developing and leading the go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate acts as a subject matter expert and portfolio evangelist, transferring knowledge about the SNF market, buyers, and products across marketing and sales functions. This critical role aligns business and product strategy with marketing programs and tactics to achieve measurable results.

The Senior Product Marketing Manager understands the market and buyers, including their decision-making processes, and can translate product capabilities into business benefits. They develop and lead product launches and marketing programs to increase awareness and demand, track performance metrics, and use data-driven insights to refine strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success is essential, requiring strong diplomatic skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Conduct market and customer research to gather data about target personas, buyer needs, and purchasing processes.
  2. Develop product positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with the target audience.
  3. Define market opportunities through segmentation and targeting exercises, identifying segments with the highest propensity to buy.
  4. Lead product introduction and launch planning, including KPI development and measurement.
  5. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop content such as sales decks, solution sheets, customer references, thought leadership, and campaign assets.
  6. Assist in product naming, pricing, and packaging by providing market, competitive, and customer insights.
  7. Provide market intelligence to inform campaign strategies that create demand.
  8. Work with Sales and Sales Enablement teams to develop value propositions, messaging, and tools for sales success.

Experience and Skills :

  1. 7+ years of Product/Portfolio Marketing experience in B2B SaaS solutions.
  2. Experience in Population Health, Health Information Technology, Acute, Payor, or other healthcare SaaS solutions is preferred.
  3. Previous experience managing a small team.
  4. Proven ability to create compelling value propositions and messaging strategies linked to organizational goals.
  5. Ability to develop strategies for pipeline creation, upselling, cross-selling, and account-based marketing.
  6. Strong marketing expertise combined with business acumen and market insight analysis.
  7. Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  8. Excellent time management, decision-making, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  9. Self-starter with a proactive attitude and drive to execute initiatives.
  10. Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills and diplomacy.
  11. Polished professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts to change.

Salary Range: $111,000 - $124,000 per year, plus bonus or commission, equity, and benefits. Compensation is determined by skills, experience, and location within Canada.
