Job description

In this role, you will have far-reaching responsibilities, including ensuring safety, quality, capability building, and loss elimination across your production unit. By prioritizing people and applying your technical skills, you will drive swift and effective change within our organization, offering significant growth potential in our large company.

Position Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of transformation processes and lead their optimization.
  • Create, implement, audit, and coach performance improvement programs that impact daily results and employee effectiveness.
  • Lead and support the execution of detailed continuous improvement plans.
  • Manage technical improvement projects.
  • Review performance data such as effectiveness, line stops, and quality defects to maintain a safe environment and eliminate contamination sources.
  • Lead regular performance improvement meetings.
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and skill development.
  • Support and lead activities for autonomous maintenance and related continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote employee engagement, training, and development to achieve manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in :

  • 3–5 years in manufacturing
  • 3–5 years in management or supervisory roles
  • Experience in the food industry within a union environment (preferred)
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Product Operations, or a related field
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Technical problem-solving skills
  • Leadership abilities to guide teams and achieve results through resources
