Job description

We are seeking an Engineering student for an 8-month term starting in September 2025. Please note, this is not a summer job opportunity.

The Engineering Student will be part of a unique work environment, leveraging their learning and applying it in the manufacturing industry by supporting Badger’s Engineering Team with design projects as well as the manufacturing process. We look forward to receiving applications from candidates who are available for the specified term.

Salary: The salary for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and prepare engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Assist with documentation and create drawing packages.
• Learn from established Engineering professionals to increase your capacity in an advanced Manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with Production team to problem solve design improvements.
• Respond to the shop floor's needs in response to issues that may surface during production.

What You'll Need for Success

• Enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering program at an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with CAD software (Solidworks preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of common software packages (MS Office, Acrobat, etc.).
• Value safety as a personal priority, considering it in all your choices.
• Hands-on experience would be considered an asset.
