We are seeking Engineering Studentsfor our Calgary District, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for a minimum of 4 months starting in September 2025.
As an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
ResponsibilitiesCoordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
Participation in project meetings
Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs.
Issues warranties
Takes/coordinates progress photos
Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings
Performance of quantity takeoffs
Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
Set-up and maintenance of records
Project schedule updates and creation of schedules.
Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
Monitoring of workforce productivity.
Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
