Job description

AECOM's Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking a Senior-Level Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Consultant to join our ICT Team. This position is also open to remote work arrangements.

The Senior Technology and Security Consultant will develop a solid understanding of client business practices and goals to :

• Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects.
• Be responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions under general supervision.
• Possess broad technical knowledge with a focus or specialization area.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex assignments, including survey design development and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects.
• Provide ICT design and consulting services for :

Data Centers

• Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
• Campus / Wide Area Networks (WAN)
• Passive Optical Networks (PON)
• Outside Plant (OSP)

Perform specific or limited ICT Design and Consulting duties as part of a team of expert Consultants, gathering and correlating engineering data, working on detailed design or consulting assignments, proposing solutions to complex problems, providing guidance to internal staff, and performing work within budget and schedule with minimal supervision.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution plus 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience / education.
• Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification.
• Other active BICSI Certifications.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.

Preferred Qualifications :

• A security clearance is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain one is necessary.
• Minimum 5 years of ICT infrastructure design experience.
• Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Visio, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 Suite, and other ICT-specific programs.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations including permitting, state and local ordinances, IEEE C2, OSHA 1910, TIA cabling and data center standards, BICSI TDMM, and related manuals.
