Job Description

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Operations Technician II. This is a contract position with a duration of 3 months, remote work, and shifts from 4:00pm - 12:30am & 11:00pm - 7:30am, Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.

As an Operations Technician II, your responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the Broadband network, evaluating and resolving trouble tickets, and working with field operations and technical support teams. You should be familiar with Broadband / DSLAM network topology, basic Ethernet router/switch knowledge, and follow established procedures to troubleshoot and resolve network issues. The role requires working independently in a NOC environment, sometimes for extended hours, in a 24x7 environment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Respond promptly to alarms and customer calls, documenting network failures and maintenance activities.
2. Analyze, diagnose, and resolve network troubles, managing multiple trouble reports efficiently.
3. Communicate effectively with internal teams and escalate issues when necessary.
4. Provide Tier I support and support network platforms supported by the team.
5. Work in a 24x7 environment, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Broadband / DSLAM network systems, Ethernet and ATM equipment, and familiarity with EMS, OSS, and network inventory systems. Industry certifications and experience in a Network Operations Center are advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with Broadband / DSLAM network architecture and configurations.
• Basic understanding of Ethernet router/switch and ATM network equipment.
