The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer and Channel Marketing, the Advocacy Marketing Manager plays a vital role in developing and executing strategies to create advocates out of satisfied customers and partners. Responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships and increasing brand loyalty, through the promotion of products and services, The Advocacy Marketing Manager is pivotal to contributing to the growth and success of the company.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and address any concerns promptly.
- Design, implement, and manage customer advocacy programs, including reference and testimonial programs, to turn satisfied customers into enthusiastic advocates.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling customer success stories, cases studies and testimonials that highlight the value of our products.
- Act as a bridge between customers and the product development team, gathering feedback and insights to help improve our products and services.
- Plan and organize advocacy events, including our Going Digital Awards at the annual YII event, Customer Advisory Board, webinars, and conferences to showcase customer success stories and share industry insights.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of advocacy programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Expand and diversify the pool of advocates by identifying potential advocates within our client base and nurturing those relationships.
- Build productive relationships with cross-functional internal (and external contract) resources stakeholders through briefing, designing, deploying, and monitoring workflows.
- Program and project management - including communication of status, action items, requirements, deliverables and results to key functional resources/stakeholders.
- Leadership of programs while collaborating and prioritizing with key stakeholders in pipeline of work.
- Working closely with Segment Marketing. Product and Solution Marketing, Regional Marketing, Brand, Growth Marketing, and Experience Design.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 4-6 years of marketing experience, including advocacy and event management.
- Exceptional ability to foster meaningful relationships and build trust across a range of personalities by demonstrating your sense of empathy, enthusiasm, and overall helpful attitude.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills are complemented by a writing style that strikes the perfect balance between personable and professional.
- A sense of curiosity combined with the proven ability to translate your ideas into actionable customer programs, events, and campaigns from the ground up.
- Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment that is fast paced with tight deadlines that require flexibility and problem solving on the fly.
- Highly detail-oriented project management style, with follow-0through skills your teammates can always count on.
- Strong technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
- Beneficial to have had previous experience with Marketo; Intercom; Goto Webinar and Splash.
- The ability to leverage key metrics and qualitative analysis to refine strategies, tactics and outcomes

Office-based working environment, work from our Vancouver office three or more days per week.
