Job Summary :

The main duties involve conducting scheduled preventive visits to assess and maintain access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems, predominantly in commercial settings. Ensuring adherence to company and industry benchmarks within specified timeframes is the primary responsibility.

Requirements :

• Passion for the trade and strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent customer communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of CANASA and security industry standards.
• Electronic Installation Qualification(s) or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to manage work independently and align with company values.
• Experience in a similar security industry role.
• Multi-disciplinary experience in service, small works, fault-finding, maintenance, and installation knowledge.
• Full Clean Driving License (essential).
• Adaptability to new technologies.
• Experience handling pre-booked preventive visits on various system sizes.
• Strong fault diagnosis skills, including working on complex systems, and assisting with installations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose access, CCTV, and network systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on DDC control systems.
• Respond to after-hours callouts.
• Execute small installation projects.
• Coordinate with customers and provide site recommendations.
• Provide technical information to sales teams.

Qualifications :

• Extensive knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry, and Intruder Alarm Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Electronic Security Systems industry.
• Knowledge of Systems Networking and IP Configuration.
• Ability to obtain a Federal Level II Security Clearance.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Current familiarity with security solutions such as AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, ICT, RS2, Salient, LENEL, C-CURE, Milestone, Inner Range, Axis.
