  • Conduct troubleshooting (e.g., testing, fault isolation, repair, log analysis, alarm diagnostics, and operational measurements).
  • Provide "On-Call" support as required, under the direction of the Service Manager or designate.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards, and fostering a safety-conscious culture.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and technical expertise.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Network+ Certification or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Hands-on experience with Motorola Solutions Systems, BDA Systems, SCADA Radio Systems, and/or TAIT products is an asset.
  • Experience with dispatch consoles, paging infrastructure, repeater systems, broadband, microwave systems, and trunked radio systems is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of two-way RF radio communications and communication theory is preferred.
  • Skilled in cabling, connector installation, system optimization, and commissioning, particularly for large-scale projects.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Strong customer service focus and a passion for working with both internal and external clients.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to pass security clearances, as required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to excellence in service.

What do we have to offer?

  • Competitive compensation, ranging from $25.00 to $44.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Participation in the Family Extended Health Benefits program (cost shared between employer and employee).
  • Participation in our RRSP matching program.
  • 3-weeks of paid vacation.
  • Standard work hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime hours as available.
  • Opportunities for continued training and professional development, with support for career advancement.
