Job description

Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the Account Sales Manager's (ASM) primary function is to perform outside sales of product inventory while managing an assigned route of accounts. The role involves increasing product sales and placement of product displays at various 'off premise' stores, upselling inventory, cooler space, and product displays. The ASM is responsible for servicing all customers safely and in accordance with Red Bull executional standards. This is a salaried position with eligibility for a commission bonus based on performance targets.

Responsibilities:
  1. Management/Sales: Manage product relationships with customer contacts at assigned Red Bull Canada Distribution (RBCD) accounts. Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, ensure equipment is maintained, perform outside sales functions, and undertake other tasks as assigned.
  2. Execution: Monitor competitors' activities such as new launches and price changes. Meet monthly goals related to sales, distribution, pricing, display, and account setup. Maintain brand standards through proper product rotation and in-store branding, increasing inventory and product diversity at each account.
  3. Building Success: Collaborate across teams, share best practices, and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts at each account.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Legal age to work.
  • Experience in sales, account management, and DSD is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 40 pounds.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
