Job summary

Flordeco, a Quebec-based flooring and home décor retailer, is seeking an E-commerce and Digital Coordinator to manage Flordeco.ca, develop content and optimize digital tools.

Reporting to the E-commerce and Digital Manager, you will publish product information, coordinate promotions, support ERP and internal platforms, and collaborate with stores and partners to deliver a high-performing online experience.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, e-commerce, communications, administration or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, web content management or a similar role.
  • Experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce, SEO and user experience.
  • Experience writing and managing web content.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of Flordeco.ca content, products, promotions, visuals and pricing.
  • Publish and update content in Shopify.
  • Coordinate promotions, campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor SEO and UX improvements for the online store.

Flordeco is a Quebec-based company that has been growing for over 15 years. Specializing in flooring and home décor, we offer a wide range of products as well as turnkey services to meet the needs of our residential and commercial customers.

With a network of 35 stores in Quebec and one in New Brunswick, Flordeco continues to grow and evolve in an ever-changing market.

We are currently looking for someone to join our head office team as an E-commerce and Digital Coordinator.

Job Description

Reporting to the E-commerce and Digital Manager, the E-commerce and Digital Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day management, development and optimization of Flordeco.ca, while also supporting various digital projects and tools across the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing web products, updating content, integrating promotions, coordinating technical follow-ups and optimizing internal tools such as the ERP, Extranet and event platforms. This person will ensure the accuracy, quality and consistency of information presented to both consumers and internal networks, helping to deliver a high-performing digital experience.

The E-commerce and Digital Coordinator works closely with internal teams, store owners, external partners and digital agencies to support the ongoing development of our digital ecosystem.

Main Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Management of Flordeco.ca
  • Maintain and ensure the quality of website content, including pages, products, promotions, visuals, pricing and other information.
  • Publish and update content in Shopify.
  • Perform regular website checks to identify and correct errors, broken links, display issues and other inconsistencies.
  • Monitor website statistics and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend adjustments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of website navigation and user experience.
Web Product Creation and Management
  • Create and integrate new web products in Shopify to ensure they are available and visible on Flordeco.ca.
  • Write and integrate product titles, descriptions, features, attributes, specifications, images and other relevant information while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure products are properly categorized and organized to make them easy to find on the website.
  • Maintain existing products and follow up when information is incomplete or requires correction.
  • Ensure the overall quality and consistency of the online product catalogue.
E-commerce and Merchandising
  • Participate in the merchandising of products, collections and categories on the website.
  • Coordinate the launch of new collections, products and promotions according to marketing priorities.
  • Ensure priority products and categories receive appropriate visibility based on campaigns and marketing objectives.
  • Stay informed about e-commerce trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
Promotions and Digital Campaigns
  • Coordinate website updates related to promotions, campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare and integrate campaign content, including banners, promotional pages, products, links and other elements.
  • Monitor promotion start and end dates and make the required updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, store owners and external partners to ensure the effective execution of digital campaigns.
SEO and Digital Content
  • Contribute to search engine optimization when creating and updating website content and products.
  • Ensure the quality of key SEO elements, including titles, descriptions, metadata, URLs and content.
  • Stay informed about SEO and e-commerce best practices to help improve the organic visibility of Flordeco.ca.
Digital Projects, Internal Tools and Technology Support
  • Participate in the follow-up of tasks, development requests and tickets with our digital agency partner.
  • Support the optimization and integration of internal systems, including the ERP system and Extranet.
  • Participate in the configuration and integration of technological tools and platforms that meet the company’s needs, including tools for events, contests and store owners.
  • Support the deployment and execution of company-wide digital campaigns.
Coordination and Collaboration
  • Work closely with the E-commerce and Digital Manager to ensure proper follow-up on priorities and projects.
  • Coordinate requests with internal teams, store owners, agencies and external suppliers.
  • Follow up to obtain the required information, visuals and approvals.
  • Participate in project meetings and follow up on assigned action items.
  • Document procedures and contribute to structuring processes related to the website and e-commerce activities.
  • Perform any other related duties associated with the development of our digital projects.

Required Qualifications
  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, e-commerce, communications, administration or a related field. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, web content management or a similar role.
  • Experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce, SEO and user experience.
  • Experience writing and managing web content.
