Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper in Windsor, Ontario to assist with safe transport and placement of building materials at customer sites. You will work closely with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery and high safety standards.

You will verify loads, assist with loading/unloading, communicate professionally with customers, and follow all regulations. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs; high school diploma

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Basic hand tools skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the assigned area while prioritizing safety.
• Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and other trades on job sites.
• Prepare trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as needed.
• Report all accidents or injuries.
• Verify load security and accuracy.
• Drive loads to sites as directed.
• Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.

Together with other team members, the Helper works to exceed customer expectations.**Key Responsibilities:**Deliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you. Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and other trades on job sites. Deliver materials to the satisfaction of customers and maintain an emphasis on safety, service, and efficiency. Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise. Prepare trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as needed. Report all accidents or injuries. Verify load security and accuracy. Drive loads to sites as directed. Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned by management.
