Job summary

Mantei's Transport is looking for a Driver Coordinator to be the heartbeat of our Calgary operations, ensuring drivers are scheduled, loads dispatched, and deliveries completed safely and on time.

You will coordinate with customers, verify orders in the TMW system, monitor safety, and support after-hours operations. A logistics-focused background and strong communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in transportation or logistics.
• Knowledge of ELD systems and TMW software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain driver schedules and keep communication clear.
• Receive and verify customer orders in the TMW system and schedule loads efficiently.
• Dispatch loads to drivers with detailed shift plans and route information.
• Confirm load deliveries and update systems; escalate issues to management.
• Be the go-to person for drivers, resolve challenges, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor safety, incidents, and performance metrics to keep operations on track.
• Support after-hours operations by handling calls and real-time solutions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to keep loads, routes, and drivers on schedule.

• Monitor safety, service incidents, and performance metrics to keep operations on track.
• Support after-hours operations by managing calls and providing real-time solutions.
• Collaborate with the broader operations team to ensure every load, route, and driver stays on schedule.

What You Bring

• Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field will be considered.
• Experience in transportation or logistics; dispatch will be considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of ELD systems and TMW software is an advantage.
