Harmac Transportation in Sarnia, ON is seeking a Driver Coordinator to keep our drivers moving safely and efficiently. You will be the primary contact for drivers, coordinating schedules, dispatching loads, and ensuring every order is executed on time.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, logistics, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics; dispatch experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of ELD systems and TMW software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills—calm in the storm.
• Strong attention to detail with multitasking ability.
• Team-player attitude and passion for problem-solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain driver schedules—clear, consistent communication.
• Receive and verify customer orders in the TMW system and schedule loads efficiently.
• Dispatch loads to drivers, sharing shift plans, truck assignments, and route information.
• Confirm load deliveries, update systems, and escalate issues promptly to management.
• Be the go-to person for drivers—answering questions, resolving challenges, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Monitor safety, service incidents, and performance metrics to keep operations on track.
• Collaborate with the broader operations team to ensure loads, routes, and drivers stay on schedule.

What You’ll Do
