Job summary

Canlan Sports in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Dressing Room Server to deliver prompt food and beverage service, ensuring guests have a positive experience.

You will handle payments through Sky Tab, maintain and reset tables, and actively promote menu items while working flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Previous food & beverage experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve or Serving It Right certification is required.
• Experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service to guests.
• Apply knowledge of beverages and bar service.
• Maintain, set and clear tables as required.
• Process payments and gratuities through Sky Tab System accurately.
• Promote menu, beverages, and current promotions.
• Receive product deliveries and ensure safe storage.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures as needed.

Rate of pay: $17.60/ hour

JOB SUMMARY

We are currently looking for outgoing, positive, and team-oriented Dressing Room Servers, who will provide prompt, courteous and accurate food and beverage service in order to exceed guest expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply advanced knowledge of beverages
• Apply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipment
• Maintain, set and clear tables as required
• Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process voids through Sky Tab System accurately
• Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotions
• Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required
• Ensure all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right, (or equivalent) required

ABILITIES, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
• Outgoing, positive and team orientated
• Experienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system ( Sky Tab preferred)
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)
