Job summary

Canlan Sports is seeking a personable Server for our Wild Wing restaurant in Toronto, Ontario. You will deliver prompt and courteous food and beverage service, upsell menu items, and manage payments with Sky Tab POS.

The role requires Smart Serve and Serving It Right certification, previous F&B experience is preferred, and candidates should be available for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve and Serving It Right or equivalent required.
• Previous food & beverage experience preferred.
• Experience handling payments and tips via POS (Sky Tab preferred).
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate food and beverage service to exceed guest expectations.
• Apply advanced knowledge of beverages.
• Maintain, set and clear tables.
• Handle payments and gratuities through Sky Tab System.
• Promote menu, beverages and current promotions.
• Receive product deliveries and store safely.
• Complete opening/closing procedures when applicable.

Canlan Sports is currently looking for a Server.

Rate of Pay: $17.60/ hour

We are currently looking for outgoing, passionate and team-oriented servers for our Wild Wing restaurant. In this role you will provide prompt, courteous and accurate food and beverage service in order to exceed guest expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply advanced knowledge of beverages
• Apply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipment
• Maintain, set and clear tables as required
• Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process voids through Sky Tab System accurately
• Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotions
• Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required
• Ensure all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right, (or equivalent) required

• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
• Outgoing, positive and team orientated
• Experienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system ( Sky Tab preferred)
