Job summary

Canlan Sports in Langley, BC is seeking a passionate cook for our Wild Wing restaurant. You will plate and present food in a prompt, courteous and accurate manner following standardized recipes that exceed guest expectations.

The role requires Food Safe certification, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and a positive, team-oriented attitude to support busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Food Safe Certified (or equivalent) required.
• Previous food preparation experiences an asset.

Rate of Pay: $18.80 - $20.50/ hour

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a passionate cook for our Wild Wing restaurant. In this role you will plate and present food service in a prompt, courteous and accurate manner in accordance with standardized recipes that exceed guest's expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Food preparation in keeping with standardized recipes including the following
• Apply developed knowledge of menu items
• Ensure opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)
• Ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage of products and receive delivery when required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Food Safe Certified (or equivalent) required
• Previous food preparation experiences an asset
• Positive and team orientated attitude
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)
