Job summary

Canlan Sports in Toronto is seeking an outgoing Dressing Room Server who will provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service in a fast-paced venue.

You will apply advanced beverage knowledge, maintain and clear tables, handle payments through Sky Tab, promote current promotions, and support opening/closing procedures as needed. Smart Serve / Serving It Right certification is required. Previous F&B experience preferred; evenings and weekends availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right (or equivalent) required.
• Experience in Food & Beverage preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings & weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, set and clear tables as required.
• Handle payments and gratuities through Sky Tab System accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotions.
• Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required.
• Ensure opening/closing procedures are completed (shift dependent).

Rate of Pay: $17.60/ hour

JOB SUMMARY

We are currently looking for outgoing, positive, and team-oriented Dressing Room Servers, who will provide prompt, courteous and accurate food and beverage service in order to exceed guest expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply advanced knowledge of beverages
• Apply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipment
• Maintain, set and clear tables as required
• Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process voids through Sky Tab System accurately
• Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotions
• Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required
• Ensure all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

• Smart Serve, Serving It Right, (or equivalent) required

ABILITIES, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred
• Outgoing, positive and team orientated
• Experienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system ( Sky Tab preferred)
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends)
