Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation team, for the Brampton, Markham or Calgary offices.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  1. Coordinates the electronic distribution process for engineering drawings and documentation.
  2. Maintain a computer database and document logs of existing documentation that ensures fast retrieval.
  3. Perform other administrative duties such as data entry, filing, document retrieval.
  4. Ensure processed documents are complete, concise, accurate, and conform to established formats.
  5. Manage archival activities for controlled documentation for auditing purposes.
  6. Communicate with Owner, Developer and Project Team efficiently and effectively.
  7. Work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.

What your experience looks like

  1. Must have at least 3 years of experience in detail-oriented administrative support for Transportation focused projects.
  2. Post-Secondary degree or diploma or equivalent work experience in an administrative capacity.
  3. Ability to learn Procore and Owners EDMS (E-Builder).
  4. Strong people skills, and the ability to work with a wide variety of staff and clients.
  5. Must have strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience in Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam and Sharepoint would be an asset.
  6. Ability to work independently.
  7. Must be detail-oriented.
  8. Strong typing and accuracy.
  9. Excellent communication skills.
  10. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  11. Effective time management and organizational skills.
  12. Must be able to meet deadlines, well organized and able to work under pressure.
  13. Ability to adapt to existing and new processes.
  14. Ability to maintain a filing system and accurate records.
  15. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  16. Any experience in the engineering or construction industry is an asset.
