Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with dealers and provide ongoing sales leadership, coaching, and support.
  • Conduct regular business reviews focused on sales performance, market share, pipeline activity, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze sales and operational metrics and translate findings into actionable plans.
  • Partner with dealer sales teams to support major customer opportunities and fleet accounts.
  • Promote structured sales processes, opportunity management, and consistent follow-up practices.
  • Assist dealers in developing business plans that align with territory and organizational objectives.
  • Support the rollout and execution of national sales programs and initiatives.
  • Drive territory sales growth and strengthen market penetration across assigned regions.
  • Monitor inventory performance, sales activity, and dealer compliance with company standards.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and dealer development activities.

Our client is arecognized leader in the commercial transportation industry, providing innovative products, dealer support, and customer-focused solutions across Canada. With a strong reputation for quality, service, and long-term partnerships, they are seeking a District Sales Manager to support and grow their dealer network throughout Western Canada.

Reporting to a senior sales leader, this role serves as a trusted advisor to dealer principals, sales teams, and key commercial customers while helping execute strategic growth initiatives across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with dealers and provide ongoing sales leadership, coaching, and support.

  • Experience supporting dealer networks or independent distributors.
  • Familiarity with fleet sales, territory management, and commercial account development.
  • Experience working with dealer principals, ownership groups, and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Western Canada.
