Job summary

United Services Group seeks an experienced Sales professional to develop long-term client relationships, sell services and products, negotiate contracts, and close deals across Western Canada. You will collaborate with National Key Account Managers, Sales operations and Marketing to achieve sales goals.

Travel is required throughout Western Canada and to the head office. You will participate in customer-focused events and manage CRM data while promoting United brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Sales or Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales within the service industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients and sell United services/products.
  • Travel across Western Canada to meet clients and close deals.
  • Collaborate with National Key Account Managers, Sales operations and Pricing to deliver quotes.
  • Increase United brand presence through trade shows and events.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing long term relationships with our clients, selling our services and products, negotiating contracts, closing deals and transitioning the client to the Key Account Management team. This role will collaborate with the National Key Account Managers, our sales operations and marketing functions to realize sales goals. Travel is required throughout Western Canada and to head office. In addition, this role will participate in customer focused events such as trade shows, customer or company sponsored events, and develop and promote customer appreciation events.

  • Identify, contact, and qualify potential customers to sell United services and products within the assigned region or territory and according to annual sales plans and goals.
  • Manage leads and opportunities funnel within Salesforce and meet monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Collaborate with National Key Account Managers, Sales operations, and Pricing teams to deliver quotes and bids within margin threshold targets.
  • Responsible for increasing United brand presence within specified regions or territories assigned through sales and marketing activities (e.g., Trade shows, webinars, sponsored events).
  • Actively participate in sales team meetings, one to ones, marketing meetings and report progress, analyze accounts and provide recommendations to improve sales activities.
  • Responsible for participating within the prescribed sales processes and updating and maintaining all customer data and sales activity progress within Salesforce (CRM).
  • Actively receive, respond, and manage customer concerns and requests within United service standards.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to participate and create annual sales plans.
  • Responsible for compliance with all United processes, systems, and health and safety compliances.
Data Integrity Responsibilities
  • Ensure data integrity pertaining to customer data within Salesforce and or any other technology platforms as defined by the customer.
  • Responsible for managing business processes using United technologies provided (e.g., Salesforce & Microsoft Programs). Responsible for asset management of assets provided for work.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform all daily functions in alignment with company mission, vision, and values.
  • Work in compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislation and take every reasonable precaution to protect the health and safety of all employees and business partners.
  • Protect company assets from damage and misuse.
  • Perform other related duties as may be required from time to time.
Job Requirements and Expectation
  • Available to address customer needs and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Willing to travel frequently within the designated territory or outside the province as may be required from time to time.
  • Ability to deal with high level of stress and solve problems as they arise.
  • Ability to work outside office hours if required by the customer
  • Available to address concerns in a 24/7 environment.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients through various channels such as networking events, cold calling, and online platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients

  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development roles within the service industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and customer behaviors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Education/Experience
  • Post-secondary degree in Sales or Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sales field.
