Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent; a logistics certificate is a plus.
• Previous Dispatch or logistics coordination experience is required.
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of outgoing shipments.
• Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, and ready for shipment on time.
• Book transportation with carriers and ensure timely collection of goods.
• Prepare dispatch documentation including waybills and delivery notes.

About the Role

Our client, a key player in the Logistics & Warehousing sector, is seeking an organized and proactive Dispatch Coordinator to manage the efficient and timely dispatch of goods from their Kimberley, Northern Cape facility. This role is critical in ensuring that products are shipped correctly and on schedule, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The Dispatch Coordinator will liaunt with warehouse staff, transport providers, and customers to coordinate all dispatch activities. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for flexibility while ensuring essential on-site presence. You will be an integral part of the Northern Cape logistics operations, contributing to the smooth running of our client's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Familiarity with dispatch processes, transportation scheduling, and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
