Barbarella Bar in Calgary is seeking a part-time dishwasher to join our fast-paced kitchen. You’ll help keep the dishwashing area clean, support back-of-house operations, and ensure sanitation standards are met.

The role is on-site with gratuities, duty meals, and extended health benefits after 90 days for those working 28+ hours per week, plus a staff discount program.

If you are reliable, organized, and able to work independently or in a team, apply to join our beach-inspired Calgary venue.

Competenze

Mansioni

• Ensure a clean and sanitary stock of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots/pans, and cooking equipment is consistently available for kitchen and food service.
• Sort, stack, and load dirty dishware into racks to maximize machine capacity and minimize breakage.
• Operate dishwashing equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Unload dishware and store in designated areas.
• Maintain ongoing communication with all kitchen departments.

Double Zero is looking for a Dishwasher to fill out their team on a part-time permanent basis. It is essential that you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and feel comfortable working both alone, and/or within a team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Ensure a clean and sanitary stock of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots/pans, and cooking equipment is consistently available for kitchen and food service.
• Sort, stack, and load dirty dishware into dish racks in an organized manner to maximize machine capacity and reduce breakage.
• Operate dishwashing equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Unload dishware, distributing and storing in designated storage areas.
• Maintain ongoing communication with all departments affecting the kitchen.
• Ensure the highest level of hygiene and food safety is adhered to according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Ensure that the dishwashing area and equipment is always maintained at the highest level of cleanliness.
• Consistently conduct yourself in a professional and positive manner.
• Aid in maintaining department objectives and ensure they are met and exceeded.
• Perform other related ad-hoc duties as required.

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Strong English communication skills with ability to establish and develop relationships with team members, partners, and customers.
• WHMIS Certification is required but can be obtained once hired.
• Food Safe Certification is required but can be obtained within 30 days of being hired.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
