Ruth & Naomi's Mission in Chilliwack, BC is seeking a dependable Part-Time Dishwasher to support our Community Outreach Centre. The role involves keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly to help serve meals to individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty with care and dignity.

The position offers part-time hours between ~8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with a pay of $18.25 per hour. FoodSafe Level 1 certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and manage garbage, recycling, and compost disposal.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks and organize supplies as needed.
• Work with kitchen staff and volunteers to support daily meal service.

Ruth & Naomi's Mission is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and positive individual to join our Food Services team as a Part-Time Dishwasher at our Community Outreach Centre!

Our Food Services team plays an important role in ensuring hundreds of meals are prepared and served each day to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and other challenging circumstances. As a Dishwasher, you'll help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly so our team can continue serving our community with care and dignity.

What You’ll Do

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep dishwashing stations, kitchen surfaces, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Sweep, mop, and assist with garbage, recycling, and compost disposal.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks and organizing supplies as needed.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and volunteers to support daily meal service.

What You’ll Bring
