Job summary

Yacoub Elite Search in Toronto seeks a Director of Talent to lead full-cycle recruitment for clients across industries. You will own the mandate from inception to completion, manage client and candidate relationships, and collaborate with the research team to map market landscapes.

The successful candidate will influence offers, compensation discussions, and search strategies while operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment. Strong executive presence and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in recruitment, preferably in a firm.
• Post-secondary education required (college diploma or undergrad).
• Experience working with senior management and C-suite preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, confidentiality and ethical standards."
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task with competing priorities.
• Trustworthy with sound judgment and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for Clients and build relationships with executives.
• Lead intake calls with Clients and set expectations.
• Develop job descriptions, candidate profiles, and short-list bios.
• Collaborate with Research team for market landscape and mandates.
• Identify and connect with targeted candidates.
• Screen and conduct preliminary interviews.
• Manage candidate progression throughout the process.
• Coordinate interviews between Clients and Candidates.
• Advise Clients on compensation ranges and role responsibilities.
• Manage offers and maintain client/candidate relationships.
• Handle multiple tasks in a lean environment with shifting priorities.
