Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field with significant experience in commercial banking.
• Extensive experience in commercial credit underwriting and portfolio management.
• Proven experience leading, developing, and supporting high‑performing underwriting teams.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk assessment.
• Experience reviewing and approving complex credit transactions.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriting professionals with coaching and development to strengthen expertise and performance.
• Oversee analysis and structuring of commercial credit transactions for new and existing clients, ensuring recommendations align with risk appetite.
• Review credit applications to ensure high standards of financial analysis, risk identification, and mitigation.
• Support deal structuring and credit applications for complex transactions as needed.
• Collaborate with Commercial Account Managers, Market Leads, and Credit Risk Management to drive portfolio growth and sound decision-making.
• Monitor and manage the loan portfolio to ensure ongoing compliance with internal parameters and credit quality expectations.
