The Canada Life Assurance Company seeks a senior leader to drive Operational Risk & Resilience reporting, analytics and insights. You will translate complex risk data into clear, executive-ready narratives and connect data across risks, controls, issues, events, losses and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, operational risk, compliance, audit, analytics, reporting, or a related discipline.
• Strong data, analytics and reporting skills to support executive decision-making.
• Ability to translate complex risk information into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience developing risk and governance reporting frameworks.
• Understanding of three lines model, controls, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of decision-focused Operational Risk & Resilience reporting, analytics and insights.
• Translate complex risk information into clear, actionable narratives for executives.
• Connect risk data across risks, controls, issues, events, losses, resilience and regulatory needs.
• Provide independent challenge to ensure accurate, balanced reporting.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, KRIs and analytics for proactive risk management.
• Partner across Risk, Compliance, Data and Technology to improve reporting and data quality.
• Identify emerging risk themes, trends, and forward-looking indicators.
• Establish reporting standards, governance and data discipline.
• Continuously improve reporting processes, tools and efficiency.
• Track team performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Build stakeholder relationships and cross-functional alignment on risk themes.
