Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), AML, compliance, risk management, governance, audit, or a related discipline.
  • University degree preferred; CAMS designation is considered an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive, governance, and strategic reporting materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large volumes of information and complex data into concise, actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data analysis tools used for executive reporting and trend analysis.
  • Experience leveraging data analytics and visualization techniques to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and levels of management.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outputs within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience supporting reporting transformation, governance enhancements, process improvements, or automation initiatives is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a high degree of professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Knowledge of governance, committee administration, and executive reporting practices within a financial services or highly regulated environment is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of FCRM Canada oversight and control governance committees, including the preparation, coordination, and distribution of meeting materials.
  • Coordinate the review and approval of committee meeting agendas and materials with the accountable executives and disseminate final packages to committee members.
  • Develop and maintain governance calendars in partnership with stakeholders and committee secretaries to support effective planning and information flow.
  • Maintain committee mandates and governance documentation, ensuring alignment with enterprise and global FCRM governance standards.
  • Maintain committee membership records and update committee structures to reflect organizational changes.
  • Track attendance and participation records for all committee meetings.
  • Maintain and monitor committee action items and decisions, following up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
  • Facilitate the preparation and delivery of FCRM program updates and reporting materials for FCRM Canada governance committees.
  • Coordinate the intake, consolidation, review, and challenge of submissions from FCRM stakeholders to ensure key risks, issues, and program updates are appropriately represented.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure matters are escalated to the appropriate governance forum in accordance with established standards and reporting requirements.
  • Draft executive summaries, speaking notes, and key messages to support Committee Chair and Secretary presentations.
  • Coordinate with global FCRM counterparts to promote consistency and alignment in reporting practices, standards, and governance approaches.
  • Conduct quality control reviews of reporting materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to reporting standards and governance requirements.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain standardized reporting templates in collaboration with global FCRM partners to support effective governance decision-making.
  • Maintain reporting procedures, job aids, quality control documentation, and governance records to support audit readiness and consistent execution.
  • Analyze data and emerging trends to identify key themes, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic insights to support management decision-making.
  • Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into concise, actionable, and executive-ready reporting.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from management and senior leadership through research, analysis, and preparation of executive-level materials.
  • Support reporting transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Support special projects and strategic initiatives aligned with FCRM program objectives, regulatory commitments, and governance priorities.
