Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce in Canada is seeking a Director, Business Operations to shape the Product & Technology operating system, design annual and quarterly planning, and build executive cadences that accelerate decisions.

You will translate strategy into investment plans, create dashboards linking effort to customer value, and partner with Finance and cross‑functional leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing or significantly evolving operating models, planning processes, or business operating mechanisms.
• Experience leading organizations through operational change.
• Experience building executive operating rhythms that drive decisions.
• Experience connecting strategy, portfolio planning, financial planning, and workforce planning.
• Strong executive communication and business insight skills.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Product & Technology operating system and annual/quarterly planning processes.
• Build and evolve executive operating mechanisms and leadership cadences for accountability.
• Develop dashboards and insights linking investments to customer value and performance.
• Partner with Finance to strengthen financial, workforce, and investment transparency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Business Operations team.
