The Domino's supply chain center located in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Director of Operations.
The Director of Operations is the face of the Domino's Supply Chain Center, responsible for providing strategic direction, developing, documenting, and executing a comprehensive logistics and distribution plan which encompasses all functions [Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, Delivery & Service, and Administration] of the Supply Chain Center.
The Director of Supply Chain Operations cultivates and drives a safety culture and optimizes profitability. They will foster and build strong teams, develop lasting relationships with stores and franchisees, and work to resolve customer concerns.
The salary range for this position is based on skills and experience, ranging from $160,000 to $180,000 base salary plus bonuses.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Create a culture where exceptional people desire to work to their highest potential and are appreciated for their performance.
- Establish a high level of safety awareness among the team.
- Develop & implement operational controls to ensure KPI results are effectively monitored, analyzed, and used to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Develop measurable goals and provide regular feedback.
- Manage the EBITDA annual budget, including expense and capital planning, inventory management, cost controls, revenue and productivity targets, analysis of reports/metrics, and operational execution.
- Ensure SOPs comply with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, Department of Agriculture, GMP, operation audits, company standards and policies, and local, state, and federal requirements.
- Develop relationships with Franchise and Corporate teams to positively impact store operations.
- Build alliances with World Headquarters (WRC) and support departments.
- Utilize customer advisory boards in developing business plans and lead local advisory boards to gather feedback on product changes, center performance, and future plans.
- Maintain internal controls and adhere to company policies, ensuring no significant deficiencies or material weaknesses as per the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Develop a center culture focused on clear expectations and accountability for performance.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to source and retain talent, support training and development, succession planning, and address team member relations concerns.
Qualifications include:
- 7+ years of proven leadership in supply chain, distribution, transportation, or manufacturing, with extensive P&L experience ($2 million+).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred.
- Ability to lead transformational change.
- Understanding of lean principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Team builder with a collaborative approach.
- Effective persuading, inspiring, influencing, and negotiating skills.
- Positive attitude, high integrity, and self-discipline.
- SAP experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to relocate for future career mobility is desirable.
- Willingness to support a 24/7 operation and be available for emergencies.
