The Central Coast Regional District (CCRD) is situated in the spectacular and diverse region of British Columbia's central coast. Serving several coastal communities, the CCRD provides essential services and infrastructure management to enhance the quality of life and sustainability of the area.
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the Director of Operations is a senior management role accountable for overseeing the planning, organization, and management of the CCRD’s infrastructure and operational services. Key areas of responsibility include water systems management, parks and recreational facilities, emergency management infrastructure, facilities maintenance, solid waste management, and other regional district operations.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, innovative leader with proven organizational skills, able to establish and sustain positive and effective working relationships with CCRD staff, contractors, government agencies, consultants, local stakeholders, and the general public.

The CCRD offers a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including a compressed schedule 4 day work week. Note: this position is based out of the Bella Coola and is not eligible for remote work. Preference will be given to qualified local and indigenous candidates.
