Job Description

This role is responsible for safeguarding Allstate's assets by analyzing complex claim data to identify potential risks or integrity issues.

The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and maintain operational controls to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the claims process. This role requires a deep understanding of claims operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to manage operational risks within claims.
  2. Design and implement operational controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  3. Analyze claims processes to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Ensure claims processes comply with policies, standards, and regulations.
  5. Utilize data analytics to monitor and evaluate controls and identify trends.
  6. Prepare and present reports on performance, risks, and compliance to senior management.
  7. Provide training and support to claims staff on controls and compliance.
  8. Collaborate with departments like IT, Legal, and Finance for effective controls.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management, Finance, or related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CIP, CPA, CISA, CIA, CRMA) are a plus.
Experience
  • 3+ years in audit, risk management, controls, or compliance in financial services (preferred).
  • Experience in Big 4 auditing firms is a plus.
