Job summary

RBC Direct Investing in Toronto seeks a Director of Initiatives and Implementation to lead the technology and operations group, delivering platform-changing capabilities and significant P&L impact for the business.

You will manage a team of product managers, drive multi-year roadmaps across Wealth Management Operations, Contact Center, and Trading Operations, and partner with executives to optimize costs and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading initiatives across functional groups
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high-quality results
• Experience working with a P&L and understanding NIE drivers
• Ability to interface and influence executives
• Strong vendor management and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and oversee transformational RBC Direct Investing initiatives across DI Contact Centre, Wealth Management Operations and trade order infrastructure
• Manage a team of Operations Product Owners delivering quick wins and major changes affecting DI P&L
• Develop, socialize and execute multi-year roadmaps for Wealth Management Operations, Contact Center Ops and Trading Ops
• Drive cost transformation opportunities from forecast to actuals across the DI portfolio
• Own third-party relationships critical to the platform (market data, tech capabilities)
• Collaborate with heads of Advice, Contact Centres, Wealth Management and Banking on cross-functional investments
• Create action plans to support cost containment, operational effectiveness and cross-channel opportunities
• Lead the preparation of PARs, SRMAs, PARAs and other risk/controls across LOBs
