Job summary

RBC in Toronto is seeking a Director of Portfolio Analytics & Insights to lead a small team and partner across Finance, Product, Risk and Operations to translate priorities into analytics, insights, and reporting.

You will drive portfolio performance, establish analytics standards, and build self-serve tools to support data-driven decisions while ensuring risk and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data and analytics with demonstrated insights.
• Strong technical skills with Python, SQL, Tableau and Excel for analytics.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and translate priorities into analytics plans.
• Strategic thinker with bias for action and ability to drive business outcomes.
• Demonstrated people leadership with coaching and developing talent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Policy, Operations Excellence and Business Risk to deliver analytics and insights that advance key business priorities.
• Develop deep understanding of portfolio performance, drivers, segment economics and customer behaviours.
• Lead analysis on product innovations and strategic initiatives, including business case development.
• Deliver concise, timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders with self-serve tools.
