Placements24 is partnering with a premier golf facility in Kimberley, Northern Cape, seeking an experienced Director of Golf Operations to lead all aspects of the golf experience, including course maintenance, pro shop operations, club events, and member services.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Golf Management or related field, with at least six years in golf operations, proven P&L, budgeting and forecasting skills, and a track record of revenue growth and exceptional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement.
• Minimum 6 years in golf operations management.
• Strong P&L, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience in marketing, events and member services.
• PGA/LPGA certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily golf course and clubhouse operations.
• Develop strategies to enhance the golfing experience and revenue.
• Manage the pro shop, inventory, merchandising, and sales.
• Lead and train golf professionals, marshals, starters, and caddies.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract members.
• Manage tournament operations and post-event analysis.
• Ensure course conditioning in coordination with the course superintendent.
• Oversee membership services and retention.
