Director of Engineering – Luxury Mountain Resort
Location: Whistler, BC
Salary: $130,000–$145,000 + bonus + benefits

I'm hiring on behalf of a well-known luxury hotel brand in Whistler, BC, known for its upscale mountain setting, year-round adventure offerings, and exceptional guest experience.

We’re looking for a Director of Engineering to lead all property maintenance, capital planning, and engineering operations. This role oversees a large team and supports multiple departments to ensure the hotel is operating at the highest standard—both front and back of house.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily engineering operations and long-term capital projects
  • Lead a team across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and sustainability initiatives
  • Play a key role in emergency response and property risk management

Ideal Candidate:
