Job summary

Enova Power Corp. in Ontario is seeking a Senior Leader of Engineering reporting to the Vice President Grid Transformation & Chief Distribution Officer.

The role leads the Engineering department, guiding infrastructure expansion, asset management, GIS, and supply planning, while aligning with corporate strategy and safety standards. You will drive strategic planning, budgeting and capital investment, mentor staff and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, design, construction and operations in an electrical utility.
• Expert knowledge of distribution systems, asset management and DSP preparation.
• Strong budgeting, strategic planning and leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency with GIS and engineering software; knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to corporate strategic plans and provide engineering advice to stakeholders.
• Lead capital investment planning to sustain and expand distribution infrastructure.
• Direct short-term and long-term operating and capital budgets for Engineering.
• Manage staff performance, development and scheduling; oversee training.
• Oversee labor relations and ensure safety culture and compliance.
• Ensure design and construction align with regulations and best practices.
