Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a driven Director of Business Development to expand our Nuclear and Environment practice across Canada, with a starting emphasis on Ontario. You will foster client relationships, identify new opportunities, and guide pursuits from identification through to contract close in collaboration with the Tender Unit.

The role reports to the VP, Business Development and Growth, Canada East, and requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on deal execution in a

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business development within engineering or infrastructure services.
• Established relationships with municipal, provincial and federal clients across Canada with initial focus on Ontario.
• Familiarity with Egis core service areas: nuclear, environment, energy and sustainable cities.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business: develop and execute BD strategies to expand client and market portfolio across Canada, starting with Nuclear in Ontario and Environment in Eastern Canada.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across Egis services; lead pursuit lifecycle from identification to contract close with Tender Unit support.
• Drive revenue targets with accurate forecasting and resource allocation, maintain CRM records and active agreements.
