Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years progressive HR experience.
• Experience in multi-site, unionized and non-unionized retail or operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment, human rights, and labour legislation.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business decisions.
• Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, coaching, and change management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR professionals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior Operations leaders to align people priorities with business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR Business Partners supporting retail operations.
• Oversee the delivery of HR programs, policies, and initiatives across the business.
• Collaborate with Labour Relations on collective agreement matters, negotiations, and employee relations.
• Build strong relationships across corporate and franchise locations.
• Champion employee engagement, inclusion, leadership development, and a positive workplace culture.
• Monitor key people metrics and identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR COEs and Finance to ensure programs are aligned, practical, and financially supported.
