Job summary

Sobeys in Mississauga seeks a strategic and results-driven leader to drive growth, operational excellence, and customer experiences across our stores. You will lead franchise and third-party relationships, guide capital projects, and execute the business strategy with accountability for P&L and financial targets.

You will coach and develop District Operators and BD Managers, build a high-performing team, and partner with HR and cross-functional leaders to ensure best-in-class retail operations

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of retail department operations.
• Strong knowledge of Profit & Loss.
• Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong relationship-building skills and knowledge of franchise and third-party relations.
• Excellent business and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of corporate and franchise store operations.
• Ability to inspire, influence, coach, and develop team members.
• Ability to liaise with and build strong relationships across all lines of business, including franchisees.
• Confidence and ability to make key business decisions.
• Strong strategic thinking ability, including data-driven and analytical thinking.

• Collaborate with HR onthe Franchisee in Training Program, including selection, training, and placement.
• Manage third-party relationships, including contracts, renewals, extensions, store standards, expectations, and default letters.
