Job summary

Arc’teryx seeks a Director, Global Strategy – Strategic PMO to be the operational engine behind enterprise-level programs, partnering with the VP of Global Strategy to drive governance, planning and funding alignment across AC, Product Operations, Technology and Finance.

You will lead governance forums, translate priorities into an integrated roadmap, manage external partners, and ensure initiatives stay on track with measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy or related field.
• 10+ years in program management or strategy operations.
• Experience establishing governance for cross-functional initiatives from scratch.
• Experience scoping and managing external consultants or agency partners.
• Comfort operating without formal authority; ability to make hard trade-offs clear and actionable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to gain alignment before execution.
• Facilitate prioritization and governance decisions with timely trade-offs.
• Translate priorities into a single integrated roadmap for planning teams.
• Ensure delivery capacity focuses on high-impact initiatives and reduces fragmentation.
• Collaborate with AC, Product, GTM Ops, Technology, and Finance on prioritization, alignment and funding.
• Source and manage external consultants or partners as needed.
• Escalate risks with clear trade-offs for leadership.
• Establish reporting rhythms and governance documentation to keep leadership aligned.
• Coordinate with Enterprise Planning to align initiative work with budget and operating plans.
