Job description

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Manager, Process Operations - PMO, you play a critical role in advancing project governance, portfolio visibility, and delivery excellence across Arc'teryx's end-to-end Idea-to-Consumer (I2C) ecosystem. Working closely with the Senior Director, Process Operations - PMO, you help establish and operationalize the frameworks, tools, governance processes, and project management disciplines that drive transparency, accountability, and predictable execution across strategic initiatives.

You partner with Product Creation, Merchandising, Regional Go-To-Market, Supply Chain, Product Data, Technology, Finance, and other key stakeholders to lead cross-functional initiatives, standardize project management practices, and improve organizational visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, and milestones. Through this work, you help teams execute with greater consistency, alignment, and efficiency across the I2C value chain.

As Arc'teryx continues to evolve its PMO capability, this role will be instrumental in building foundational project management standards, creating scalable operating practices, and supporting the implementation of governance frameworks and portfolio management processes that strengthen execution across the business.

This role is based in our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Process Operations team sits at the heart of Arc’teryx’s I2C value chain, leading cross-functional alignment and advancing a culture of radical collaboration. We optimize the intersection of Product Creation, Supply Chain, Product Data, and Regional Go-To-Market, acting as an internal consultancy that identifies, designs, and implements process improvements and operating model changes.

We establish the company’s I2C/GTM rhythm of business by standardizing calendars and tools, clarifying deliverables and decision rights, and embedding KPI-led performance management. We govern product data, modernize reporting, and build capabilities that provide forward-looking visibility, better planning, faster decisions, and on-time seasonal delivery. As an essential thought partner to business leaders and cross-functional teams, we deliver clarity, consistency, and cohesion.

Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of PMO governance frameworks, project management standards, intake processes, and delivery methodologies.

Partnering with the Senior Director to prepare governance forums, project reviews, portfolio updates, decision materials, and executive communications.

Driving project execution discipline through consistent status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.

Facilitating project meetings, steering committees, and working sessions while ensuring clear ownership, decisions, and follow-through.

PM Foundations & Business Process Infrastructure

Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving project management templates, playbooks, RACI models, project plans, risk registers, and documentation standards.

Supporting the creation of repeatable project delivery frameworks that enable teams to execute consistently across functions and initiative types.

Documenting existing and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities to improve clarity, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment.

Maintaining project repositories, documentation structures, and knowledge management tools to improve accessibility and organizational adoption.

Portfolio Visibility, Reporting & KPI Management

Building and maintaining project dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reporting mechanisms that improve visibility into portfolio health and execution performance.

Monitoring project milestones, resource requirements, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Producing clear and concise reporting for leadership audiences, highlighting progress, emerging risks, key decisions, and business impacts.

Supporting the development of performance management frameworks that connect project execution to measurable business outcomes.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Change Enablement

Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Product Creation, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Technology, Product Data, and Regional Go-To-Market.

Supporting change management efforts by driving alignment, communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new processes and ways of working.

Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve organizational effectiveness.

Acting as a trusted partner to functional leaders by helping teams navigate ambiguity, manage priorities, and execute against key commitments.

Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement

Identifying opportunities to standardize workflows, project methodologies, governance processes, and operational practices across the I2C ecosystem.

Supporting the development of PMO best practices and helping embed a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Contributing to the evolution of the PMO function by recommending improvements to tools, reporting, governance, and project delivery approaches.

Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure processes, tools, and operating models scale alongside organizational growth.
