Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a Director, Fund Accounting to lead our Emerging Talent Program and oversee fund administration deliverables across a growing team in Canada. You will shape training, proficiency, and client outcomes while partnering with leadership to scale our operations.

The role reports to a Senior Director, Fund Accounting and requires strong leadership, process discipline, and a passion for developing entry-level talent into seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, venture capital, real estate, and/or hedge funds.
• 5+ years of experience hiring, managing and developing a team of fund accountants.
• Strong client and relationship management skills.
• Operational mindset with scalable processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Staffing and capacity management with forecasting hiring needs.
• Hire, onboard and train a team including managers and entry level staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
• Improve team satisfaction via engagement surveys and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product and Investor Services to drive automation and efficiency.
• Oversee fund accounting service delivery and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Manage year-end audit and scope new client requests with cross-functional teams.
