Reporting to the Director of Sales, Leisure and Entertainment, the Business Development Sales Manager will collaborate with the Sales, Events, and Marketing teams to drive sales and generate revenue across leisure travel, group meetings, conferences, and other events involving food and beverage.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead management for Group and Leisure markets, including all bookings over 10 rooms, utilizing Opera Cloud for lead tracking, proposals, and client follow-up
- Conduct prospecting to build a pipeline of business, primarily via telephone, with potential participation in trade shows or networking events
- Assist with site visits, including reservations, amenities, and partner invitations
- Manage relationships with outside catering venues to maximize opportunities
- Maintain accurate client databases and adhere to system standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of hotel sales experience
- Bachelor’s or Hotel Management Degree preferred
- Experience in senior sales roles within luxury hotels
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Opera Sales & Catering, Microsoft Office, Cvent, LinkedIn
- Goal-oriented, organized, and competitive
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze financial data for strategy development
- Positive, supportive team player
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
Additional Information
Your Team and Environment: Collaborate with key leadership including the Director of Sales, Regional Directors, and other departments.
