Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Director, AI Product Owner within Advanced Analytics Delivery to shape the AI product portfolio. You will own backlog prioritization, translate opportunities into product decisions, and maintain a dynamic roadmap.

This role drives reusability of AI assets and partnerships with leadership to report progress and allocate resources effectively. You will work with data scientists and ML engineers, oversee ROI-driven prioritization, and engage senior stakeholders to define success

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in product management.
Experience owning roadmaps and making strategic prioritization decisions in data, analytics, or AI environments.
Technically fluent and able to engage credibly with data scientists and ML engineers.

Responsibilities

Own backlog prioritization and sequencing of operations use cases based on ROI, feasibility and reusability.
Translate stakeholder needs into structured product briefs and define success criteria for each use case.
Maintain an up-to-date product roadmap across AI solutions for leadership visibility.
Identify and productize reusable components, models, and patterns to accelerate delivery.
Act as external face of the AI portfolio, communicating capabilities and pipeline to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Senior Director to report portfolio progress and ROI realization.
