Job summary

Intact is seeking a Director, Actuarial – Claims Data & Analytics (CDAT) to lead a high‑impact team in our Claims organization. You will drive data strategy, build innovative tools, and partner with senior leaders to translate data into actions across multiple business units.

You will manage ~3 direct reports and a broader team of ~15 analysts, directing priorities to support Indemnity control, analytics delivery, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics.
• FCIA or FCAS designation is an asset.
• Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience, including 4 at a Manager level.
• Professional experience in P&C insurance.

Responsibilities

• Be the centralized voice of claims data, reporting, and tools used by claims operations.
• Be innovative - develop tools and models to help the claims operations be more efficient and make better-informed decisions.
• Be proactive to identify trends and propose solutions to keep good control on indemnity.
• Work closely with Supply Chain in the deployment and tracking of our Supply Chain strategy.
• Lead and develop the CDAT team to attain the company’s strategic objectives.
